Lucid Landscapes provide report writing and design service. We can carry out a full Assessment or if necessary aid you in the final graphic presentation of any report, brochure, plan or presentation. We are able to produce the following:

Landscape Character/ Visual  Assessments. A good method of identifying and describing variations in local landscape. They also assess  the impact of certain kinds of development in the countryside such as urban expansion, reassessment of greenbelts and location of wind farms.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) – Environmental assessment legislation becomes applicable in the countryside where certain projects are proposed.

Feasibility Reports – Use our expertise to find out whether a proposed project is a viable option. This type of option is most useful in finding out potential options before taking a step to development. We will help weigh up either side of the proposal and give back an informative and useful report.  

Management/ Maintenance Plans – We provide these reports for all gardens and landscapes. The plan acts as a to-do list for years to come giving guidelines for all general Management issues . Planting left to its own devices will revert to woodland and scrub and even well built structures will rot, crumble and collapse. The need for a good Management/ Maintenance plan is essential to promote longevity with any landscape.

 

First we will meet with the client and make clear the report guidelines such as site boundaries, proposed developments and so on. Once all necessary information is in place and assuming our client is happy we shall proceed to carry out a full site visit, desktop study, research and final report production. A draft shall be sent to the client to ensure correct content and quality. Upon receiving feedback and making any necessary changes the final report is issued.
